Manufacturing Sales registered RM60.1 billion in November 2016
 

The sales value of the Manufacturing sector in November 2016 recorded RM60.1 billion, an increase of 8.2% (RM4.6 billion) as compared to RM55.5 billion reported a year ago.

Total employees engaged in the Manufacturing sector in November 2016 was 1,030,745 persons, an increase of 0.2% or 1,954 persons as compared to 1,028,791 persons in November 2015.

Salaries & wages paid in November 2016 increased by 6.1% (RM185.6 million) to record RM3,232.8 million.

Productivity increased by 8.0% to record RM58,301 as compared with the same month of the previous year.
