"Malaysia's economy is expected to expand further after a favourable performance in the first quarter"

MESR Volume 5/2022  focuses on the economic performance in the first quarter of 2022, with highlights on recent statistics and indicators released in March 2022 and some forthcoming statistics for April 2022. In addition, a box article entitled “Will Imports for Livestock Meat Be Able to Stabilise Prices in the Market?” is featured in this fifth series, which studies the effectiveness of increasing the supply of livestock meat in the market through imports to the price of livestock meat. 

This MESR will assist users to have the latest information on the economic performance in detail.
