Economic recovery remains in sight with a better trend as signalled by Malaysia's macroeconomic performance
in April 2022 amid global uncertainty

MESR Volume 6/2022 collated the socioeconomic indicators for April 2022 with some foresight on the upcoming statistics in May 2022. In addition, a study about the potential effect of macroeconomic variables on the stock market in Malaysia is also featured in an article entitled “The Effect of Macroeconomic Factors on Stock Market: Empirical Evidence from Malaysia”.

This MESR will assist users to have the latest information on the economic performance in detail.
