Latest indicators showed the economy remained at on a positive trajectory with favourable growth on domestic production and external sector

MESR Volume 9/2022 presents the latest economic scenario based on the official macroeconomic statistics released by DOSM for July, with highlights on some forthcoming statistics for August 2022. A box article is also featured entitled “Energy Multiplier in Malaysia: An Input-Output Analysis” which studies the relationship between energy intensity, the impact of energy consumption in relation to the economic growth for the five main sectors of Malaysia’s economy for 2015 and 2010 by using multiplier analysis.

This MESR will assist users to have the latest information on the economic performance in detail.
