The total revenue of the Services sector recorded RM627.9 billion, registering a positive growth of 6.2 per cent as compared to the same quarter in 2023. 

Number of persons engaged in Services sector amounted to 4.5 million persons, increased 1.7 per cent year-on-year. 

Salaries and wages in the fourth quarter of 2024 posted a growth of 3.9 per cent to reach RM33.3 billion compared to the same quarter a year ago. Compared with third quarter of 2024, salaries and wages increased 0.9 per cent.

Meanwhile, Malaysia's e-commerce income reached RM310.2 billion, reflecting an increase of 3.7 per cent year-on-year. For a quarter-on-quarter basis, e-commerce income saw an increase of 0.8 per cent.
